I'm a working programmer. I've been writing PHP for longer than I'd care to admit, and I still genuinely enjoy it - these days mostly with Laravel, which is my current happy place. I like taking things apart to see how they actually work: framework internals, queues, the weird edge cases the documentation politely avoids. A bug that takes three days to track down is, honestly, my idea of a good week.
When I'm away from the keyboard, I build and fly racing drones. It's a refreshingly honest hobby - in code a mistake is a stack trace, in FPV it's an evening with a soldering iron. I also love to travel, which is why I've always worked remotely: the code doesn't care what's outside the window.
